New talk shows.

This fall you’ve got a chance to watch new interesting talk shows. Katie Couric, Jeff Probst, Ricki Lake and Steve Harvey are going to launch new daytime talk shows you should pay attention to.

Katie Couric’s talk show is Katie and it would be some kind of observation of the most important issues of today. “It might be a profile of a navy seal after Osama Bin Laden has been killed; it might talk about women in the military and some of the stresses they experience in reentry with their families”. So in fact she is going to touch on the themes that seem to be significant and really important for many of us.

The Jeff Probst Show would be an attempt to reflect Probst’s life philosophy. According to him life is full of adventures and really unpredictable. “All of a sudden, my world opened so much wider and my world became so much more immense, and that combined with technology and the fact that we are living in a bona fide cultural revolution, that the globe is transforming, is what made me decide I wan to be a part of conversation”, says Jeff Probst.

Ricki Lake would like to focus on problems of real people. So in fact she would not invite celebrities. Instead of it she “still wants to be talking with real people […] So relationship stuff, body image stuff, aging, family, children, finding love, dating – all of it. It’ll just have a different tone”.

It is no great surprise that Steve Harvey is going to host TV show devoted to relationship issues. And as well as Picki Lake Harvey is going to meet regular people instead of celebrities. He says that, “they have real stories, and other people can relate to that”.
